ReplyDeleteWe prayed for the team this morning! Especially that God continues to meet the financial need of the team members.

Anyone ever hear the joke about the guy who was facing a flood. When the water was at his ankles a 4x4 drove up and the driver asked the guy if he needed some help. The man answered no that God would save him. After awhile as the water rose the man managed to get on his roof when a boat happened by and the captain asked the man if he needed help. The man replied no that God would save him. Sometime later the man stood on the top of his chimney with the water at mid-shin level when a helicopter happened by and the pilot yelled out to see if the man needed help. He shook his head no then stated that God would save him. Well...the man drowned. When he got to heaven he asked God why He didn't save him. God replied,"I tried. I sent a 4x4, a boat, and a helicopter."
ReplyDeleteGood news--I just heard how much God is providing for the team through the church's giving! We pray that He continues to provide so the financial goal is met. Can't wait for the luncheon this Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prayers! And support! It was my understanding, while I do not have the official update, that the team should be fully funded! PTL! It has been so humbling to be invited to participate in this ministry to God's chosen ambassadors(sp?). We eagerly anticipate what He will do and how we can best serve Him and represent the wonderful body of Christ at CEFC.

We pray for two or three of you by name each night. The kids think you're starving though! I haven't been able to explain that Hungary is a country, not a state of being without food... Nathan
